Steven Tyler & Joe Perry ‘Dream On’ For Boston
“Dream On (Boston Strong 2014),” featuring Steven Tyler and Joe Perry along with the Southern California Children’s Chorus, landed on iTunes today. What’s more, they recreated the moment at last night’s Aerosmith concert.
The new version of Aerosmith’s timeless classic premiered in April on ESPN’s “E:60 Presents Dream On: Stories From Boston’s Strongest.” The program told five stories of survivors of the tragic twin bombings that happened at the end of last year’s Boston Marathon.
Now you can purchase the song via iTunes. Tyler and Perry are donating any monies they receive for the track to charities helping those affected by the bombing.
During the July 30 Aerosmith concert at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., the band was joined by the Southern California Children’s Chorus for “Dream On (Boston Strong 2014).” Tyler and Perry are also making a video with the chorus. So far, only a short clip has been released.
