Foo Fighters To Headline Invictus Games Closer

The Foo Fighters top the lineup for the closing concert, a five-hour event that includes performances by Kaiser Chiefs, Ellie Goulding, Ryan Adams and others set for mid-September in England.

Sept. 14 at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is where it will all go down.  The list of acts on the bill includes The Vamps, Rizzle Kicks, James Blunt, Diversity and Military Wives Choirs.

A new sporting event for wounded, injured and sick military personnel, the Invictus Games are supported by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and the Ministry Of Defense.

“AEG are very proud to play our part in producing the Invictus Games Closing Concert,” said the company’s director of events, Jim King.  “It’s going to be an uplifting day of music featuring world class talent.  The concert will be a fitting end to an inspirational four days of games.”
