John Butler Trio Announces Fall Tour

John Butler Trio has planned another trip back to the U.S. following this weekend’s appearance at Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival. The fall excursion launches in late October in Texas.

We’re going to go ahead and bet that the setlist will include plenty of tunes from the Australian roots band’s latest LP, Flesh & Blood. The album – John Butler Trio’s sixth full-length – was released in February.

Before playing Outside Lands the trio will take the stage in Salt Lake City Wednesday and Eagle, Idaho, Thursday. You can find Butler & Co. at Peak Summer Nights in Bend, Ore., on Friday.

The act will play a short set of dates in its homeland in early October. Plus, the band has booked a handful of nights in Japan.

A limited number of presale tickets are available now through the band’s website. Additional presales – Live Nation, Citi cardmember, venue and internet – are scheduled Wednesday and Thursday. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Aug. 8.
