UK Acts Bossing ETEP
Two UK acts are currently bossing this year’s European Talent Exchange Programme and so far they’ve both secured 14 festival appearances.
Brighton rock act Royal Blood and London funk band Jungle have moved five clear of Danish singer-songwriter Mø. Of the 10 acts doing best out of this year’s ETEP, four are from the UK and another two are from Ireland.
Of the top 20 acts, six are from the UK and three are from Ireland. CEETEP, the version of ETEP that’s been tailored for the old Eastern Bloc, is a more democratic affair. Nine acts from nine different countries have one show each, including Oratnitza from Bulgaria, Carnival Youth (Latvia), and Bernays Propeganda (Macedonia).
