John Oliver Has A Tour To Do

Funny guy John Oliver takes to America’s touring superhighway for a November-December run beginning in Buffalo, N.Y., and wrapping with New Year’s Eve in Boston.  Stops along the way include Denver, Anaheim, Atlanta and Portland, Ore.

What a difference a year makes.  Last year Oliver was substituting for Jon Stewart on Comedy Central’s “Daily Show” and now the Emmy and Writer’s Guild Award winner has his own gig hosting “Last Week Tonight” on HBO.

But the “Hostus Mostus” has more on his plate than his weekly satire gig on premium cable.  Oliver and longtime collaborator Andy Zaltzman present the weekly satirical podcast “The Bugle,” which pulls in 500,000 downloads per week.  Add that to his guest appearances on NBC’s “Community,” providing the voice for Vanity Smurf in “The Smurfs” movie as well as its sequel, “The Smurfs 2,” and it appears Oliver is a very busy man.

But not too busy to headline his own tour.  Here are the dates:
