Kacey Musgraves: Same Tour Different Trailer
San Jose’s Mercury News declared Musgraves and her “contemporary take on old-school country” Friday’s best set at the San Francisco festival.
The paper noted, “She sounded superb — like someone who will be a major force in country for years to come.”
Musgraves is working on the follow-up to her fourth studio album and major label debut, 2013’s Same Trailer Different Park. The LP won the Grammy award for best country album and helped her pick up CMA’s award for new artist of the year.
The singer/songwriter has support dates with Katy Perry booked through the end of the month.

A presale for most dates begins Tuesday, Aug 12 at 10 a.m. local time via Musgraves’ website. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, Aug. 15. The presale for Chicago begins Aug. 19, followed by the public onsale Aug. 22.
