Knotfest Reveals More Bands

As if two nights of Slipknot & friends aren’t enough to satisfy your inner metal cravings, ups the ante with a slew of sonic celebrators.  Details after the jump.

Happening Oct. 24-26 near San Bernardino at San Manuel Amphitheatre and Campgrounds in Devore, Calif., Knotfest’s already announced lineup features Danzig, Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Of Mice & Men, Anthrax and other bone-shaking bands.

Now the festival has revealed its plans for Extreme Stage 005 powered by Kinetik Power and Ernie Ball. Gracing the stage will be Fear Factory, Napalm Death, Satyricon, Amen, Otep, Prong, Immolation, Attika 7 and others.

Featuring a Slipknot-curated lineup, Knotfest will feature more than 60 bands on five stages before that last encore rings out Oct. 26.

And don’t forget about the Friday night VIP pre-party bash, available to fans who have purchased VIP or camping packages.

Knotfest delivers the goods via a festival environment featuring more than 20 attractions, including a Slipknot museum curated by the band.  Adding to the circus vibe will be drum circles, firebreathers, stilt-walkers and more, including “a massive display of fire.”
