Aerosmith canceled its Wednesday night gig at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, Calif., just hours before the show was to begin.  The last minute change in plans was attributed to illness, according to a statement from the band.

TMZ took it a step farther and reported that drummer Joey Kramer was suffering “heart complications.”  Citing a member of Aerosmith’s crew, the entertainment gossip site also reported the band would not make its Saturday night appearance at The Gorge Amphitheatre located near Quincy, Wash.

But fear not, Aerosmith fans in the Pacific Northwest.  Kramer and the rest of the gang will rock the outdoor venue as scheduled, Saturday, Aug. 16.

The band put out the word today, noting that Kramer “has no history of heart problems” and that the Concord show was canceled so that the drummer could undergo a “minor medical procedure.”

“I’m feeling better than ever and I’ll be back sitting in the best seat in the house, hitting it harder than ever for our amazing fans,” Kramer said.  “My gratitude and thanks for all the love and support showered on me during this time. #LetRockRule.”
