Napa Quake Rocks Venues

The venue reportedly sustained damage to its stucco and marquee outside, and the Napa Valley Register noted part of the ceiling by the stage fell down. The former movie palace has been open as a venue since 2011 after undergoing years of restorations that returned it to its Art Deco glory.

Meanwhile the Napa Valley Opera House, where Michael Dorf’s City Winery hosts shows, sustained no damage, but canceled that evening’s performance.

Dorf’s restaurant didn’t fare as well, suffering more than $10,000 in losses in its wine cellar, plus a leak that poured inches of water across the restaurant floor.
