Slipknot Sez ‘Prepare For Hell’

Slipknot unveils its autumn rumble across the land with very special guest Korn and opener . Beginning a few days after in Southern California, destinations include El Paso, Omaha, Denver, Boston, Kansas City and Toronto.

Slipknot revealed more than just tour dates today.  The band’s upcoming album The Gray Chapter will be released Oct. 21 and is available for pre-order via iTunes.  All orders will receive new tracks “The Devil In I” and “The Negative One” instantly.

What’s more, fans purchasing tickets through Oct. 5 will receive a download of the new album upon its release.

And then it’s time to “Prepare For Hell” with the fall tour launching in El Paso a couple of nights before Halloween.

“We’ve been waiting a long time for this,” Corey Taylor said.  “Not only do we get to tour with friends who we respect, we’ve also chosen a band that represents the fury of the future.  Slipknot is coming to your town.  And hell’s coming with us.”

There are two Slipknot-curated Knotfests coming up in the fall.  The U.S. edition will occupy the San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore, Calif., beginning Oct. 24 with the kick-off party and Oct. 25-26 featuring two nights of Slipknot. Knotfest heads to Nov. 15-16.
