Jeezy, real name Jay Jenkins, was arrested by Mountain View police detectives at the Verizon Amphitheatre, the next stop on the “Under the Influence of Music” tour, according to the San Jose Mercury News. Also arrested were five people who were working for the tour, all on the same charges. None of the arrested have been identified as subjects, according to the paper.

Eric Johnson, an entertainment promoter and record label owner, was shot and killed backstage around 11 p.m., according to police. He is not associated with the tour. Mountain View detectives traveled to Irvine as part of the homicide investigation and, with the help of Irvine police, served search warrants that turned up illegal weapons associated with the six arrested, according to the paper.
