VMA Ratings Down From Last Year
The VMAs, at the Forum in Los Angeles Aug. 24, had good ratings, but not as good as last year’s show.

The MTV video awards event brought in 8.3 million viewers, which is down from the twerkfest known as the 2013 VMAs, which had 10.1 million viewers.
Both are better than two years ago, when the show had 6.1 million viewers.
This year’s VMAS were followed the next night by the Emmys, which brought in 15.6 million viewers. However, it sadly only generated 1.1 million tweets. The VMAs had, omg, like 13 million tweets which is totally amazing.
