Australia Noize: Bluesfest, The Black Keys

Not only will The Black Keys top 2015 lineup but the guitar/drums team of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney will also play other stops on the continent.  Details after the jump.

We begin with Bluesfest at Byron Bay.  Scheduled April 2-6 at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, the 2015 event also includes Zac Brown Band, Alabama Shakes, Train, Michael Franti & Spearhead, George Clinton And Parliament Funkadelic, Paul Kelly, Xavier Rudd, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Rebelution, SOJA, The Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Beth Hart, Frank Turner & Sleeping Souls, Mariachi El Bronx, Band Of Skulls, , G. Love & Special Sauce and Rockwiz Live.  Expect more artists to be announced.

“We never have anything less than great announcements at Bluesfest – I think this time around we are making one of our best so far,” Bluesfest director Peter Noble said.

Bluesfest will be the first stop for The Black Keys’ tour of Australia. Coming off of a tour of Europe and the U.K. in March, the band’s Australia stops include two “A Day On The Green” events plus shows in Melbourne, Darling Harbor, Perth and Hindmarsh.  Here’s the rundown:
