Staged at Sydney’s Allphones Arena Oct. 18, the festival is produced by Dainty Group and Australian Radio Network (ARN)’s Sydney station KIIS 1065.

The six-hour event includes Redfoo of LMFAO fame, Cody Simpson, social media success story At Sunset, African-born Sydney rapper Miracle and DJs The Faders.

iHeartRadio launched here late 2013. Uptake “exceeded expectations,” ARN said, with more than 400,000 app downloads.

Dainty Group chairman Paul Dainty, commented, “This has been many months in the planning and we are incredibly grateful for the support of Miley Cyrus and the Australian Radio Network to bring this to life in such a massive way.”

Cyrus’ Bangerz album topped the Aussie charts. The “Wrecking Ball” single went quadruple platinum and “We Can’t Stop” triple platinum.
