The state Division of Gaming Enforcement issued a closing notice Tuesday to Trump Plaza, which will cease operations at 6 a.m. Sept. 16.
Trump Plaza will be the fourth Atlantic City casino to go out of business this year.
The Atlantic Club shut its doors in January.
The Showboat shut down on Sunday, and Revel closed Tuesday morning.
Atlantic City began the year with 12 casinos, but will have eight by mid-September.
The market has been pummeled by competition from casinos in nearby states.
