Usher’s ‘UR Experience’

Armed with new music from his much anticipated eighth studio album, Usher launches his “UR Experience Tour” Nov. 1 in Montreal.  General onsales for select dates launch next week.

Details for Usher’s first headlining outing in three years comes one week after his performance at MTV’s Video Music Awards extravaganza and follows the release of his new single, “She Came To Give It To You,” featuring Nicki Minaj.

When he wasn’t recording his new album, Usher put his acting chops to work, playing pugilist Sugar Ray Leonard in the upcoming biopic of boxer Roberto Duran called “Hands Of Stone,” which costars Robert De Niro as Duran’s trainer, Ray Arcel.  Edgar Rameriz plays Duran.

One of the best-selling artists in recorded music, Usher has been highly visible on TV.  The R&B singer recently concluded his second season as a coach on “The Voice” where he mentored Josh Kaughman to the top of the show’s pops.

Next week Usher will appear at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for “Fashion Rocks” Sept. 9 and he’ll stop at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas Sept. 19.  “The UR Experience Tour” covers November and December.

“With the UR Experience, I want to give my fans an ever-changing live show full of surprises and special guests,” Usher said.  “I am really excited to be with my fans and give them an Usher experience like they’ve never seen or heard before.”
