Chrissie Hynde Ain’t Pretending

After years of touring as the singer / guitarist of The Pretenders, Chrissie Hynde will see her name on marquees as she ventures forth to tour North America.  Tickets go on sale next week.

Supporting her 2014 debut solo album Stockholm, Hynde will launch the adventure in Toronto during the last week of October.  Destinations include New York, Boston, Dallas, Denver and Los Angeles.

Described as a “delicate and sexy solo debut” by Rolling Stone, Stockholm was not only produced by Björn Yttling, but the member of Sweden’s Peter Bjorn and John also co-wrote most of the tracks. 

The upcoming tour includes a stop in Hynde’s hometown of Akron, Ohio.  Here’s the plan:
