Brooks’ newly announced dates are Oct. 10, 11 & 12 at the Jacksonville  Veterans Memorial Arena.  Jacksonville is the third city to be added, joining Chicago and Atlanta on the world tour.  Trisha Yearwood will also perform.

Needless to say, the folks in the Florida town are very excited about the shows.

“This is a big deal for Jacksonville,” Mayor Alvin Brown said.  “We’re honored to host music legend Garth Brooks as he embarks on his long-awaited world concert tour. He’s a fan favorite with incredible presence.  Along with the great success of the Florida Country Superfest earlier this summer and Paul McCartney’s upcoming concert in October, it shows that Jacksonville is a premier venue for music’s stop talent.”

Tickets go on sale Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. EDT.  Check out GarthBrooks.com for more information.
