Jackie Evancho: ‘Tour Bus Equals Fun!’
Evancho not only stunned the judges when, at the age of 10, she appeared on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” but the performance also attracted the attention of Columbia Records, which immediately signed the child phenom. She’s since released albums and EPs and appeared in “The Company You Keep” with Robert Redford, Shia LaBeouf, Julie Christie, Susan Sarandon and Nick Nolte. Evancho also appeared as a special guest in Cirque du Soleil’s “One Night For One Drop” benefit at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
She has a new album to go with the tour – Awakening – arriving Sept. 23.
Now it’s time to jump onboard the tour bus for a cross-county adventure.
“I feel that my singing style has matured, and it’s easier for me to feel comfortable on stage,” Evancho said. “I’m excited about it. Tours equal tour bus, and tour bus equals fun!”
