Run The Jewels With EL-P & Killer Mike

The hip hop über team-up of EL-P and Killer Mike will hit the road next month and continue touring through mid-January. Launching in College Station, Texas, destinations for Run The Jewels include Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, Chicago, Boston and other locales.

The extensive tour that includes Ratking and Despot on several dates will be in support of Run The Jewels’ sophomore album, RTJ2, arriving as a free download as well as on CD, LP and through digital retailers Oct. 28 via Mass Appeal Records.  The disc includes guest appearances by Zack de la Rocha, Travis Barker, Boots and Diane Coffee.

Coming up later this month is Run The Jewels’ contribution to Adult Swim’s “Single Series” airing Sept. 15.

Festivals gigs such as Lollapalooza and Outside Lands along with a Canadian run have kept Run The Jewels busy through the summer.  Now the duo has filled its calendar with dates and more dates, not only taking them all over the U.S. but also to Australia and New Zealand.  Here’s the tour:
