Robert King claims he was assaulted by another man at Urban’s Dec. 8 concert at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky. His lawsuit names as defendants the man who assaulted him as well as Urban, members of Urban’s touring staff and Yum! Center managers, according to WDRB News.

King claims negligence, alleging Urban and his staff “requested or encouraged” the venue staff to “lessen, minimize or otherwise do away with certain security restrictions, protocols and/or goals” for the concert, according to the lawsuit.

It does not specify what those requests were but claims Urban failed to “adequately train, supervise, hire and/or retain his staff,” according to WDRB.

The venue has been reached for comment.
