A Few More Dates: Jack White, Ryan Adams, Wilco, Eric Church

Jack White extends his stay in Mexico … Ryan Adams announces gigs in Austin and NYC … Wilco adds another night in New York … Eric Church books a benefit concert for the Grammy Foundation.

After playing Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City Oct. 11, Jack White is sticking around the country a few more days as he continues supporting his sophomore album.

Lazaretto was released in June through White’s own Third Man Records.

The new dates down south are scheduled Oct. 13 in Puebla at Centro Expositor Puebla, Oct. 14 at Guadalajara’s Teatro Estudio Cavaret and Oct. 15 at Monterrey’s Auditorio Banamex.

Ryan Adams’ latest tour announcement comes on the eve of the release of his new LP. The self-titled album is due out Sept. 9 via his own PAX AM label.  

After playing the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. tonight and a handful of dates in the U.K., Adam’s fall excursion through the U.S. and Canada launches Oct. 1 in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Adams has squeezed in a few more stops on the road trip, with an Oct. 23 gig at Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater and two nights at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom Nov. 22-23.                   

Presales for NYC begin Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 11 a.m. EDT.  Austin’s presale is Thursday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. CDT. The general onsales are scheduled Friday, Sept. 12 – Austin’s begins at 10 a.m. CDT and New York starts at 11 a.m. EDT.

Wilco’s anniversary festivities will continue for another night. Last week the band announced it was celebrating 20 years with a run of fall dates and forthcoming box sets.

The itinerary originally featured two nights in Nashville Oct. 21-22; an Oct. 23 gig in Knoxville, Tenn.; an Oct. 25 show in Raleigh, N.C.; and two nights in Port Chester, N.Y., Oct. 28-29.

Looks like ticket sales went well on Friday because today the band told fans that “thanks to your overwhelming response” a third night has been booked at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester Oct. 30.

A presale for the Oct. 30 gig begins Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. local time. The general onsale is scheduled Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 12 p.m.

The show is scheduled Oct. 8 at The Orpheum Theatre in Maddison, Wis. Don’t be late because there is no opening act. Church will be joined by his full band.
