ZZ Top Roadshow To Resume In 2015

Saying Dusty Hill’s “well being is paramount,” ZZ Top will return to the road the “first of the year.”  The band has already locked down new dates for its tour with Jeff Beck and promises there are more on the way.

ZZ Top’s tour was interrupted when Hill took a “misstep” on the band’s bus, resulting in a hip injury.  The bassist is expected to make a complete recover.

“We’re looking forward to getting out there and rockin’ it with Dusty in a big way … 100%” ZZ Top’s Billy F. Gibbons and Frank Beard said in a joint statement.

The band said that it is “now booking and rescheduling an extensive run of dates starting early next year.”  However, some dates cannot be rescheduled and ticketholders will be refunded.  Those shows are Sept. 25 at the Bloomsburg Fair, Bloomsburg, Pa.; Sept. 26 at the Big E Festival in West Springfield, Mass.; Sept. 27 at Maine State Pier in Portland, Maine; Oct. 8 at the Foellinger Theatre in Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Oct. 15 at the So. Carolina State Fair in Columbia.

Meanwhile, there are newly rescheduled ZZ Top / Jeff Beck dates.  Here there are:

May 1 – Thackerville, Okla., WinStar World Casino & Resort / Global Event Center
May 2 – The Woodlands, Texas, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
May 7 – Tampa, Fla., MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre
May 8 – West Palm Beach, Fla., Cruzan Amphitheatre
May 9 – Saint Augustine, Fla., St. Augustine Amphitheatre
