Changes In The Cher Universe

Turns out that viral infection is waylaying Cher longer than expected, resulting in eight additional shows being rescheduled.  New dates for Allentown, Newark, NYC, Boston and other destinations after the jump.

News that Cher wasn’t feeling 100 percent in the pink emerged earlier this week when the singer postponed the first two nights of the second leg of her “Dressed To Kill” tour after doctors diagnosed her as suffering from an “acute viral infection.”  Today’s announcement raises the total count of rescheduled shows to 10.

Here’s what’s happening:

Sept. 15 – Allentown, Pa., PPL Center is now Dec. 2
Sept. 17 – Newark, N.J., Prudential Center is now Dec. 12
Sept. 19 – New York, N.Y., Madison Square Garden is now Dec. 10
Sept. 20 – New York, N.Y., Madison Square Garden is now Dec. 15
Sept. 22 – Uniondale, N.Y., Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum is now Dec. 8
Sept. 24 – University Park, Pa. Bryce Jordan Center is now Oct. 13
Sept. 26 – Boston, Mass., TD Garden is now Oct. 9
Sept. 27 – Hartford, Conn., XL Center is now Oct. 11
Sept. 29 – Washington, D.C., Verizon Center is now Dec. 6
Oct. 1 – Auburn Hills, Mich., The Palace Of Auburn Hills is now Nov. 23
