Keith Urban Reschedules Wash. St. Fair Gig

A death in the family has resulted in Keith Urban pushing back tonight’s show at the Washington State Fair to next year.

The decision to reschedule the show to Sept. 19, 2015 was announced on the country star’s website. The change in plans follows news reports that his father-in-law, psychologist Tony Kidman, died in Singapore. Kidman was the father of Urban’s wife, actress Nicole Kidman.

Tickets purchased for tonight’s performance will be honored on the 2015 date. The tickets will also serve as entry passes for next year’s state fair, according to KeithUrban.net. The fair-entry portion of tonight’s ticket may still be used for admission to this year’s fair, according to the website.
