Revolution To Upgrade Security

Revolution Concert House in Garden City, Idaho, has gotten what owner Creston Thornton calls “a shot across the bow” from the city and is working on a “global solution” to a parking lot problem that he says helped generate 27 police calls in a two-month period.

The city has filed a criminal complaint against Thornton and noticed an intention to sue after a “chronic nuisance” law was enacted that limits the number of police calls to three in a 60-day period before a business can be sanctioned. Sanctions can include a six-month closure.

He said that he expects the issue to be settled by mid-November.

Revolution routinely hosts 8-10 events per month and past shows have included Trace Adkins, Tiesto, Ellie Goulding and 2 Chainz. There are more than 20 shows on the books through October, including the Pixies, Chase Rice and CenturyLink Arena.
