Phish, New Year’s Eve & You

Believe it or not, it’s already time for Phish to make its official announcement about the band’s annual New Year’s Eve residency. After four straight years in New York City, the guys are returning to the land of palm trees, otherwise known as “Magic City.”

We’re talking about Miami, where Phish is taking over AmericanAirline Arena Dec. 31 and Jan. 1-3. The shindig marks the third time Phish has rung in the new year at the venue. Past New Year’s Eve residency took place in 2009 and 2003.

Phish has put together this pretty video to go along with today’s news.

An online ticketing request is currently underway. Fans can choose an individual night or opt for the ultimate NYE celebration with a four-day pass.

The general public onsale begins Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. EDT. If you’d prefer to purchase tix in person you can get yours at the venue box office starting Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (that is, if tickets are still available).
