Arashi Storms Hawaii

Top Japanese boy band Arashi made its long-anticipated and very lucrative concert return to Hawaii Sept. 19 at the Ko Olina resort just outside of Honolulu.

The group is celebrating its 15th anniversary in show business. When it was first starting out, it made a very low-key appearance in Hawaii, but this time things were much different. Local TV station KHON reports that the five members arrived at the stage via helicopter and 167 busloads of concertgoers from Japan where you have seating, turnstiles, and it’s used to handling crowds.
