Sammy Hagar’s Belated Birthday Bash

Sammy Hagar isn’t one to let a hurricane squash his birthday celebration. The Red Rocker has moved his annual Cabo Wabo bash to Las Vegas where he’ll celebrate his coming into this world with a few friends.

Hagar nixed his birthday celebration at his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, last week after Hurricane Odile roared through that country’s Baja Peninsula. Now he’s slotted a replacement party to take place at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center Oct. 18.

Joining Hagar will be “The Circle” made up of his fellow ex-Van Halener Michael Anthony along with Jason Bonham and Vic Johnson.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. The evening will also also Joe Satriani and Chad Smith for a Chickenfoot encore. Is this a great one-off or what?

Tickets went on sale today. Fans who purchased tickets for the Cabo Wabo blowout can transfer the passes to the Las Vegas gig and receive a complimentary upgrade to the Red Zone. Click here for more details.
