The managers of the State Theatre have been selected to run 5,000-capacity outdoor concert venue under construction in Portland, Maine.

The venue, which will be part of a mixed-use development on former industrial land, already includes a rail yard shed roof suspended on steel beams, but the exact location of a stage and seating have yet to be determined, the Portland Press Herald reported.

State Theatre officials told the paper the venue could host six to 10 shows per year.
