Attorneys Sue Akon
A law firm that represented Akon in 2012 when he was sued by a concert promoter for skipping out on a show is now suing the artist, saying he hasn’t paid his legal fees.

Davis and Winston claims the firm “vigorously represented” Akon, his touring company and others in promoter Sundiada Triado’s suit, which alleged he lost a $10,000 deposit to Akon to play a nightclub when the artist ditched the concert for a higher paying Las Vegas gig, Courthouse News reported.
The suit said Akon and his team refused to give back the deposit and even claimed they’d never received it. The case was settled in January, and the firm’s complaint contends Akon was sent a bill for $63,613 in legal fees in April, but he’s yet to pay up.
They’ve sued alleging breach of written contract and services rendered at agreed price, CN said.
