Aussie Dates: Lady A, Yellowcard

Lady Antebellum, already announced as headliners of the CMC Rocks Queensland country event in March, extend their visit downunder with two arena shows.

The group plays Sydney’s  March 15 and Melbourne’s  March 17. Also on the bill are Kristian Bush, who visited Australia in 2008 with Sugarland, and Maddie & Tae on their maiden visit.

After a 2013 acoustic visit behind the 10th anniversary of its Ocean Avenue album, Yellowcard returns next year with fellow-Florida act Mayday Parade. The five club and theatre dates, July 4-11, are through Frontier Touring.

Frontier also brings back Australian electronica outfit Knife Party, which has been touring extensively through the U.S. and Europe and amassed 72 million streams on SoundCloud, 34 million plays on Spotify and 53 million views on YouTube. The group does five large theatre shows Dec. 13-26, with Perth drum and bass act ShockOne, which has headlined various EDM festivals.

Mercury Prize nominee Jamie T returns after six years for Love Police, doing four theatres Jan. 21-25 behind his third album, Carry On The Grudge.

Just before UK and European shows, Aussie outfit Dream On Dreamer previews its next album on the “…And The Light Pulled Me Back” tour. Presented by Hysteria, New World Artists, Bullet Proof Au and Sabretusk Present, the nine-club run is Oct. 31 to Dec. 6.

After a sellout 2014 tour, Croatian duo 2Cellos returns for Mister Dibley, taking in five theatres in Australia Jan. 6-15 and New Zealand Jan. 17.

Mistletone Presents locked in Seattle’s , aka Mike Hadreas, for three club shows Feb. 15-19.
