Lineup Unveiled For California Roots Festival

Slightly Stoopid, Tribal Seeds, and G. Love top the list of the first round of artists for 2015’s California Roots Festival. Early bird tickets go on sale next week.

The event returns to the Monterey County Fairgrounds May 22-24.

Along with the acts listed above, you’ll also get performances from Dilated Peoples, Nahko and Medicine For The People, Trevor Hall, John Brown’s Body, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Fortunate Youth, Mike Love, The Supervillains, E N Young, Jon Wayne and The Pain, and Animo.

Your festival experience will be rounded out with live painting and yoga.

Looking back at this spring’s festival, here’s a recap video to show you a taste of the fun California Roots has to offer folks.

The second batch of 2015 acts will be revealed in November, followed by the third artist announcement in December.  

A limited number of early bird three-day tickets will be available Oct. 15.
