Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Take Flight In 2015

November and March hold key dates forNoel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.  The band releases a new single next month and will issue its new album in March on the same day NGHFB begins its U.K. tour.

Chasing Yesterday arrives March 3 via sour Mash Records.  Coming to us a bit sooner is the disc’s first single, “In The Heat Of The Moment,” schedule to be released digitally and on limited edition 7-inch vinyl Nov. 17.

Details about the album were announced during a live Q&A on Facebook hosted by BBC 6 Music’s Matt Everitt.  Chasing Yesterday was written and produced by Gallagher, a first for him and the band.

“It was a major pain in the ass,” Gallagher said about his role as producer.  “It’s not that I’ve ever had people telling me what to write or what direction to go in, but managing sessions from one end of the week to the other proved extremely difficult.  I had all these people looking at me and saying: ‘Right, what are we doing today?’ I was making the whole thing up as I went along.”

At this point in time the flight plan for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds covers the U.K. and Europe with the band promising North America and Japan dates to be announced.   Here is what is on the books as of today:
