Billy Idol Plots Australia, New Zealand Shows

It’s been 12 years since Billy Idol has played Australia.  Now the singer/author is returning to the continent for a March run followed by three April gigs in New Zealand.  With special guest Cheap Trick on all dates, the adventure begins in Perth.

Idol’s Australia plans take him downunder during the land’s March-May autumn.  Idol, who published his long-awaited autobiography “Dancing With My Self” earlier this month will play arenas as well as a few “Day On The Green” events that also include The Angels and The Choirboys.

Idol’s new album, Kings & Queens Of The Underground, arrives Oct. 21.  Here’s the Australia/New Zealand schedule:
