Justin Timberlake Books Final ‘20/20 Experience’ Gigs

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. Justin Timberlake just announced the final two shows of his “20/20 Experience World Tour” will take place in Las Vegas. Tickets go on sale this week.

Timberlake has spent the past two years on the road supporting his third and fourth studio albums, which make up The 20/20 Experience. Part 1, which was released in March 2013, includes the singles “Suit & Tie” (feat. Jay Z), “Mirrors” and “Tunnel Vision.” Part 2 was issued last September and features “Take Back the Night,” “TKO” and “Not a Bad Thing.”

Last week Timberlake wrapped his Australia/New Zealand outing. He’ll return to the stage Nov. 20 in Portland, Ore., to launch a final run of U.S./Canada dates. The excursion includes stops in Las Vegas, Houston, Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, Philadelphia and Nashville.

“The 20/20 Experience World Tour” concludes Jan. 1-2 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. The shows will be filmed and directed by filmmaker/producer/screenwriter Jonathan Demme, who is best known for directing “The Silence of The Lambs” and “Talking Heads Stop Making Sense.”

Timberlake’s fan club – The Tennessee Kids – will get first dibs on tickets with a presale that begins Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. MasterCard is also holding a presale for tis cardholders on Tuesday.

The general onsale begins Friday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m.
