August Burns Red January-March

August Burns Red is heating things up this winter with “The Frozen Flame Tour,” which kicks off Jan. 22 in Baltimore and runs through March 8 in Philadelphia. The metalcore band is bringing along Miss May INorthlane, and ERRA as support.

Before the year ends August Burns Red is going into the studio to record the follow-up to 2013’s Rescue & Restore, which marked the act’s sixth full-length. You can expect the new album to be released sometime in 2015.

In the meantime, you’ll want to pick up Punk Goes Pop Vol. 6, which includes August Burns Red’s cover of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.” The compilation is available for pre-order and due out Nov. 17.
