Mariah Finishes Strong
Following some difficulties in Japan with regard to equipment, memory and hitting those famous high notes, Mariah Carey wrapped up the Asia portion of her “Elusive Chanteuse Show” tour with five China shows that were unqualified successes and which seem to have won her even more fans in the world’s most populous country.

The five shows took place in Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Tianjin and Shanghai. According to the Carey tour, the concerts made her “the first Western artist to play five stadium shows in China.”
To commemorate the tour, Carey uploaded an amateurish video that spliced together snippets of her 1993 classic “Hero” from all five shows focusing on the audience singing along.
