Life Is Beautiful Fest Takes Over Downtown Vegas

Kanye West, the Foo Fighters and the Russian punk band Pussy Riot are coming to downtown Las Vegas this weekend for the Life is Beautiful festival.

The second annual event kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday across several city blocks.

Organizers say last year’s inaugural event drew about 60,000 people. It consisted of five music stages, a culinary village and a learning program that featured a range of inspirational speakers.

This year’s will include four stages, dozens of food vendors, nearly 70 musical acts and art installations.

A three-day general admission pass to this year’s festivities costs $250. A parking or shuttle pass costs an additional $40.
