The Icarus Line On The West Coast

Heads up, West Coast. Hope you’re prepared for a visit from the Los Angeles-based hellions known as The Icarus Line. The “freak out rock ‘n’ roll group” is hitting the road in December for a string of dates through California, along with stops in Washington and Oregon.

The band’s PR folks promise you can expect “retina-scarring, pulse-quickening life performances ever on the edge of total collapse and often tumbling into brilliance.”

For those unfortunate souls not in the know, you might be wondering if The Icarus Line truly deserve the “hellions” label. Well, did you hear about the time the band decorated The Strokes’ tour bus with graffiti? Or what about the incident with Stevie Ray Vaughan’s guitar at Austin’s Hard Rock Café? And who could forget the time the band did the world a favor and published Fred Durst’s cellphone number on Buddyhead.com? Ah, memories.
