Conviction In Bouncer Death

A Tempe, Ariz., man was sentenced Oct. 25 to 18 years in prison after being convicted of manslaughter in a case in which a Scottsdale club bouncer was stabbed to death.

Ian MacDonald stabbed bouncer Tyrice Thompson five times in the back, hip and arm following a fight outside the Martini Ranch club, prosecutors said.

Thompson died a few days later. MacDonald had pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder.
