Sylvan Esso Runs On ‘Coffee’

Armed with a remix of one of their songs, electro-pop duo Sylvan Esso announces its plans for global conquest in 2015.  Destinations include Australia, Europe and the good ol’ U.S.A.

While the new dates cover the first four months of 2015, Sylvan Esso isn’t waiting until next year to rack up mileage on the touring odometer.  Following two sold-out shows in their home state of North Carolina Oct. 30 & 31, Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn will do a West Coast run with Foster The People, hitting Oakland, Sacramento, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.  The duo will also play a headline show in Davis, Calif., Nov. 9.

The group’s Australian adventure begins Dec. 30 and concludes Jan. 3, including appearances on “Beyond The Valley” and “Lost Paradise.” Following a few U.S. shows in mid-January, Sylvan Esso will play My Morning Jacket’s “One Big Holiday” in Mexico at the end of the month before crossing the pond for dates in Europe and the U.K. March 12 in Washington, D.C., marks the band’s return to North America.
