Australian Government-run national youth radio network Triple J celebrates its 40th year with the Beating The Drum concert at Sydney’s Domain Jan. 16.

It features major acts it broke: hip-hop trio Hilltop Hoods, EDM duo The Presets, Latin jazz-rock outfit The Cat Empire, power trio You Am I, singer-songwriters Vance Joy and Courtney Barnett, indie-rock acts Ball Park Music, The Preatures, Adalita and Crowd Control’s Alister Wright & Heidi Lenfferl. DJs Nina Las Vegas and KLP, indie pop singer Domain and rising rappers Remi and Tray Maidza.

The broadcaster’s 40th celebrations also include a TV documentary, book, CD release and exhibition.
