Midler will be touring in support of her new album, It’s The Girls!, arriving Nov. 4.  Produced by longtime collaborator Marc Shaiman along with Scott M. Riesett, the disc features the four-time Grammy winner’s salute to some of the legendary girl-groups of all time ranging from the World War II-era Andrews Sisters to The Supremes and others.  Selections include Midler singing TLC’s “Waterfalls” and The Shirelles’ hit “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.”

Midler, who will appear on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” Nov. 5, “Today” Nov. 6, and “Live! With Kelly and Michael” Nov. 7, told Associated Press that she’s trying to keep the tour’s carbon footprint to a minimum.

“I don’t want to travel with 40 trucks, I don’t want to travel with 90 people,” Midler said.  “Bruno Mars is my hero.  Bruno Mars has eight trucks.  If I tour, that’s how I want to tour.  I don’t want the confetti cannons.”
