Where’s The Band In 2014?

After taking a few years off, the “Where’s The Band? Tour” is back. The 2014 edition includes Thrice’s Dustin Kensrue, Alkaline Trio’s Dan Andriano, The Dear Hunter’s Casey Crescenzo and The Get Up Kids’ Matt Pryor.

As the name of the tour suggests, the excursion is made up of frontmen of some of your favorite rock bands, minus the rest of each group. Each of the musicians will take the stage for solo acoustic performances. The tour’s Facebook page hints at collaborations to come, saying that the guys will be “sharing the van and, perhaps, sharing the stage with each other for an intimate evening.”

Pryor has been on all three of the previous Where’s The Band? outings in 2009, 2010 and 2012. Kensrue was featured on the 2009-2010 adventures.

The 2014 road trip takes place along the coast of California, along with a stop in Arizona.

Dec. 17 – San Francisco, Calif., Great American Music Hall
Dec. 18 – West Hollywood, Calif., Troubadour
Dec. 19 – San Diego, Calif., House Of Blues
Dec. 20 – Phoenix, Ariz., The Crescent Ballroom
Dec. 21 – Pomona, Calif., The Glass House Concert Hall

Pryor will not appear Dec. 20-21.
