NOFX Guitarist Is Not One To Mess With

Here’s something you don’t want to try for yourself the next time NOFX plays your town. During one of the band’s Australia gigs this week, a fan put his arm around one of the band members and the result wasn’t pretty.

Apparently NOFX’s Fat Mike had been experiencing some neck pains when the band played Sydney’s Enmore Theatre Wednesday, something the axeman mentioned earlier in the show, according to TMZ.

However, an overzealous fan later jumped on stage and wrapped his arm around Mike’s neck. That’s when the guitarist forearmed the guy in the face, knocking him down onto the stage floor.

It was while the fan was off of his feet that Mike kicked him in the head.

But the fan has no animosity towards Mike. Instead, his attitude is quite the opposite and after the show he tweeted his apologies to the musician, saying he had been drinking and had forgotten about Mike’s neck problems.
