Take That Targets Arenas
Touring in support of the brand new studio effort titled III that’s arriving in stores Dec. 1, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen will launch Take That’s summer escapade with three nights at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro.
We wouldn’t blame you if you thought the band had shrunk a bit during the past few years. The last time Take That released an album was in 2010 when Jason Orange and Robbie Williams were in the group.
But don’t worry. Take That may be leaner but they still live for the stage spectacular. Past tours have included circus performers, holograms, a giant elephant and a 60-foot robot. Well aware of their legacy for the really big show, Take That promises more thrills with the 2015 arena tour.
“We’ve always been very proud of our live shows and are very excited to be touring again next year,” Take That said in a group statement. “Playing live is something we love the most about what we do and we’re looking forward to putting on the most amazing show we can. It will have been four years since our last tour so we’re really keen to get back out on the road to play some of our biggest songs from the last 20 years alongside our new ones. We hope to see you there!”
