Aussie Dates: Franti, Nas

The mixture of music and yoga will include sets by U.S. reggae act Soja and reggae-folk singer-songwriter Trevor Hall. Bluesfest Touring has the tour land for an initial eight clubs in Australia and New Zealand March 26 to April 16.

Nas’ global run celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of his Illmatic album hits Australia in early 2015. Frontier Touring has him booked for three theatres and a festival Jan. 20- 27.

Feel has Neneh Cherry making her first trip to Australia and New Zealand, taking in six festival appearances and three theatres Feb. 28 to March 11.

Spandau Ballet’s Soul Boys of the Western World Live’ Tour plays four arena dates for Dainty Group May 13-22.

Shaggy appears for Metropolis Touring and Tombowler Presents in six theatre venues May 16-22. T.I., who did a promo visit September, returns as a double-up with DMX. They do three stadiums Dec. 12-14 through Karma Promotions.

Rising Jamaican act Chronixx And the Zincfence Redemption follow their sat the Raggamuffin festival in New Zealand with club shows in Melbourne and Sydney Dec. 11-12.

Bluehawk Presents has Michael Bolton at four theatres May 16-25, teaming him with Aussie hit band 1927.

Virginia-based rock band Mae returns after seven years to play its 2005 second album, The Everglow, in entirety. The eight club dates, booked through Various Artists, run March 5-15.

A joint tour December by Sweden’s Robyn and Norway’s Röyksopp was canceled after Robyn pulled out, citing “a personal family matter.” Röyksopp hoped to put on their own shows “but unfortunately are unable to produce this in time.”
