Springsteen, Metallica Among Performers At Free DC Concert

Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, Eminem and Metallica are among the headliners for a free concert on Washington’s National Mall to raise awareness for issues affecting veterans.

Tuesday’s first-of-its-kind is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of fans to the Mall.

The Veterans Day event was spearheaded by Starbucks president Howard Schultz. While there’s no charge for tickets, organizers are hoping to direct fans to ways they can volunteer or donate money to causes helping war veterans.

Performers also include Carrie Underwood, Dave Grohl, The Black Keys, Jessie J and the Zac Brown Band. The event will also feature filmed tributes to veterans from Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, among others.
