Rodney Carrington Brings ‘The Truth”

With two albums topping the comedy charts plus a new YouTube series, Rodney Carrington announces his “Here Comes The Truth Tour” beginning Jan. 9 in Amarillo, Texas.

Carrington released something new and something old on his own Laughter’s Good Records Oct. 28.  The comedian’s new studio album, Laughter’s Good, debuted at No. 1 on the Soundscan Overall Comedy Chart.  Carrington also released a remastered version of his 2001 live album C’Mon Laugh You Bastards which debuted at No. 2 on the same Soundscan chart.  The live LP includes three previously unreleased songs.  Both albums debuted at No. 1 and No. 2 on the iTunes Comedy Chart.

The same day Carrington released the two albums, the comedian also launched his new YouTube series, “Bit By Bit,” giving fans a taste of his live show.  Carrington will update the series each Tuesday at 3 p.m. Central Time.

The hard-working funny guy will return to Las Vegas in December for a multi-night stand at the Hollywood Theater at the MGM Grand during the National Finals Rodeo.  Radio’s nationally syndicated “Bob & Tom Show” is running a contest to send three listeners to Vegas to see the man in action and have an up-close encounter with the comedian.
